REP. OGLES VOTES “YES” ON FUNDING ICE & BORDER PATROL

June 10, 2026

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Congressman Andy Ogles (TN-05) voted yes on Senate Bill 2, the “Secure America Act,” to give U.S. Border Patrol agents, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, and the Department of Homeland Security the tools they need to defend our border, enforce our immigration laws, and end the invasion fueled by Washington’s failed open-border policies.

“The American people have demanded a mass deportation mandate. Democrats have not only vilified the brave ICE and CBP agents tasked with carrying that out, but have also cut their funding in order to punish them for protecting our communities. That ends today,” said Congressman Ogles.

“I am proud to announce that, thanks to the leadership of President Trump, Republicans have delivered billions in resources and critical backpay to the brave ICE and CBP patriots who are getting illegal aliens off our streets. We will always stand with federal immigration enforcement, law and order, and the men who put their lives on the line to defend our homeland,” Congressman Ogles said.
