Taking Steps to Impeach Biden
Last week, the House voted to refer Congresswoman Lauren Boebert's (CO-03) articles of impeachment against Joe Biden to the House Committee on Homeland Security. I took to the House Floor to speak in support of the articles and their referral to committee, which is chaired by my fellow Tennessean, Congressman Mark Green (TN-07). As you may recall, I recently introduced my own articles of impeachment against Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. I will keep you up to date on the progression of those but rest assured, I will continue to support efforts to hold Biden responsible for his dereliction of duty.

CELEBRATING THE ANNIVERSARY OF DOBBS
On Saturday, we celebrated one year since the Supreme Court’s historic decision to overturn Roe v. Wade and return the issue of abortion back to the States. I know for many of us, it was a day we will never forget. It was a day we prayed for, many for their whole lives.
Since Dobbs, abortion has been banned in 14 states and restricted in several others.
It is so encouraging, as an advocate for life, a father, and a Christian, to see abortion being done away with. While Dobbs brought a new wave of hope, the Court’s decision did not end the battle for life in the States.
I am proud to live in the Great State of Tennessee, where we value the lives of the unborn as they are being knit together in their mother’s wombs. I stand with pro-lifers in states that still have abortion–we are with you and we are praying for you. LIFE IS PRECIOUS and may we never forget that.
COME INTERN WITH MY OFFICE!

I am currently seeking paid congressional interns for this fall in my D.C. and District offices. The internship is in-person and will ideally run from August to December, although dates are flexible. Intern responsibilities include answering phone calls, sorting mail, greeting guests, assisting staff with administrative and legislative tasks, attending briefings and hearings, and other projects. Ideal candidates will have a positive attitude, good work ethic, attention to detail, and strong conservative values. Interested applicants should send their resumes with the subject line “(Last Name, First Name) Fall Internship Application” to TN05Internships@mail.house.gov. I look forward to seeing your applications!
